Corporate Social Responsibility Policy
WHH seeks to balance commercial delivery with its responsibilities to employees, customers, suppliers, local communities and the waterway environment.
Our commitments
Conduct business to high ethical, professional and legal standards. Provide a safe, healthy and fair working environment in which people can develop and are treated with respect. Serve customers professionally, honestly and efficiently and respond constructively to feedback and complaints.
Reduce our environmental impact through continual improvement and responsible use of resources. Encourage suppliers and contractors to adopt responsible business practices. Support waterway and community organisations where our knowledge, craft or resources can make a useful contribution.
Responsibility
The Commercial Director is responsible for implementation and resources. The Managing Director monitors the underlying commitments and ensures the policy is considered through the management review process.
This is a concise public statement of WHH's policy commitments. The controlled internal policy, supporting procedures, records and approval status are maintained separately within the WHH management system.
