Our commitments

Make employment decisions fairly and on relevant merit, skills, experience and business requirements. Prevent unlawful discrimination, harassment and victimisation throughout recruitment, employment, training, promotion and the ending of employment. Apply the policy across all protected characteristics under the Equality Act 2010.

Review selection criteria and working practices to remove unjustified barriers and make reasonable adjustments where appropriate. Encourage suitable applicants from under-represented groups while maintaining merit-based recruitment and progression. Handle equality monitoring information lawfully, securely and only for legitimate monitoring and compliance purposes.

Responsibility

The Managing Director has overall responsibility. Managers must apply the policy consistently, and all employees, workers, applicants, agency staff and contractors are expected to support its purpose and raise concerns about unfair treatment.

This is a concise public statement of WHH's policy commitments. The controlled internal policy, supporting procedures, records and approval status are maintained separately within the WHH management system.
