The tug or workboat is selected around the load, waterway dimensions, journey and the support needed at the worksite. Our range extends from compact mini tugs that lock alongside a hopper to traditional narrow craft and multipurpose motor workboats.
Published dimensions and capacities are a guide. Final suitability, loading, stability and working configuration are confirmed against the site and intended operation.

Powerful V-hulled pushing tugs with engines up to 110hp. Different sizes cover narrow canals and heavier wide-waterway loads, with top-steering options for houseboats and other high or oversized craft.

Compact, powerful tugs designed for easy road transport and tight waterways. At under 14ft long they can sit sideways in a lock, allowing a large hopper and tug to pass through together.

Built by Harland & Wolff in 1936, Barnet combines working-canal heritage with dependable modern service. Extensively refurbished and re-engined, she can carry cargo, tow an unpowered craft and provide welfare facilities.

A flexible self-propelled utility boat for smaller projects. Configurations include narrow and wide beams, open or tanked holds, basic welfare, small cranes and space for a skip or compact plant.
